Frankford Cemetery Association

The Texas Historical Commission has recognized Frankford Cemetery with a 
Texas State Historical Marker and designated Frankford Church as a Recorded Texas Historical Landmark.

Board Of Directors Mission Statement:

"We, the Frankford Cemetery Association Board, commit ourselves to the task of preserving the entire Frankford site, including the church, cemetery and grounds."  

We are aware of the unique historic significance of this site to our association and the Dallas area and want to restore the grounds and preserve the church while maintaining its historic integrity. 

Frankford today is what remains of a tiny pioneer community that was an
important crossroad on the Shawnee Trail.
